Me not Dead~~

Sorry for not having update the blog for the longest time, mostly because I don't know if there are people reading it ~_~

I have been trying to promote my game like a pimp, but I have to say this business is not as easy as I thought it would be XD  The most input I have received is the lack of game play.  So right now I am on the fence on either diving right in to make a real game I want to make, or making an expansion for more Lily.

Meanwhile, I have found a second job(part-time) making animation for another indie dev, so that I can sustain my passion of making adultish games.  I will announce it in my next update once its confirmed.

And please feel free to post some comments !!

  1. Heyo, you don't look like you're getting much support. I'm a fan though, so once my next paycheck comes in, I'll donate some money to the patreon.

It's definitely a good looking game, the animations seem top notch, and the voice acting's great too. Though honestly, you might need to branch out to more places of advertising. Did a google search, only top 5 searches are relevant to the project. Maybe have multiple places where you post updates? Or advertise this blog as well? I honestly think you get enough people attracted to the game (because goodness, it is a very good looking game), then support will be coming in a lot easier. Word of mouth and all that.

On the game itself, the clicking mechanic is interesting. However, it's hard to really identify how it works without experimentation...? Maybe add some clarification to that, or something?

Good luck dude, hope you get some great progress on this.

    1. Oh, and maybe more frequent updates too. Not just on the game, but the development process and some such. Y'know, nitty gritty stuff to make people feel more involved, and feel the project is chugging along.

    2. I am excited!! Thank you for commenting on my shitty blog >_<

I have tried promoting my stuff on multiple forums in the past two months. The brute reality hit when I barely got any supporters out of all those exposure. Though whenever some one decides to support me, I still feel warm inside and be appreciative :)

I have been told by other developers that making free stuff for people to share is how the word of mouth effect works. So in the future I shall aim to make something small enough to be shared on flash sites. I also have learned that marketing is something you should do before you release your game instead of after XD Duh...

About the game play, here is what I wrote on a forum: "In general if you click 3 times and more within a thrust, you move faster; 1~2 times then the speed stay the same; and if you don't click it will fall back down. Usually the faster it gets, the bigger the number, except scene 2. Another exception is in scene 3 the numbers don't fall back to 1 if you stop clicking, it falls back to 4 or 7." Let me know if it helps.

    3. Ah, okay that makes sense. Yeah, gameplay is pretty simple. Though you might wanna put in the game (or the demo) about how it works clearly as well.

And since this is a personal blog it appears, and not just a development blog, you could always just make simple loops? Or even just interactive flash movies of clicking a button. I've seen lesser quality flashes compared to this have great response to it. So just branch out more, there are many places dedicated to erotic content, so just gotta distribute more and more.

    4. Oh yea flash animation is really simple to make. It takes about 20~30 hrs for each scene, compare to average 200 hrs I put into each scene in this game. The downside is that it won't have the 2.5D effect that I want people to experience. And the art style is limited, because if you use anything other than their vector graphics, you will encounter anti-aliasing problem. Its really sad that 7 years since I have been making games, there are still no perfect solution.
